Oct 29th 2009 ~ The current dulcimers shown have had five coats of lacquer sprayed and wet sanded between coats and hopefully will be ready this year for new homes. The new spray building has enabled me to continue with the building process after a few years of life's interruptions. A move to a new home (two acres located west Mobile AL east Hurly MS) and I finally have a spray building in which to finish my instruments. Photos included.

The next run of dulcimers have begun two different wood combos are in the works. The first will be three dulcimers made out of figured mahogany  with Spanish cedar tops. All solid aged tone woods. These three will have 3 piece backs of mahogany with a center of ribbon striped nogal. The second will be four dulcimers made from a special aged stock of figured nogal sides and book matched backs also with cedar tops, you have to see this wood it is awesome.
